Why learn First Aid?

You can be the difference between life and death.

First Aid emergencies can occur anywhere, to anyone. When a cardiac arrest occurs, for example, you only have 4 minutes to react before brain damage occurs. While many Singaporeans may be inclined to wait for the SCDF to arrive, oftentimes it may be too late.

That’s why it is important to learn First Aid, so that you can render assistance, comfort, and support to those in need before medical assistance arrives. Any citizen can become a confident First Aid provider. By becoming a certified First Aider, you can help to save lives before the arrival of an ambulance and/or a medical doctor. Life is precious!
